norelem moves – from swimming pool covers to offshore cranes

Be it a sorting system, elevator or marine crane: nothing works in modern logistics and production processes without guide rollers. Guide rollers ensure precise motion along defined paths and reliably support loads even in continuous operation – both indoors and outdoors. For these diverse applications, norelem offers four product ranges made from different materials and with varying hardness degrees.

Hardness grades.

These unassuming guide rollers do a lot of hard work. They ensure the smooth running of processes in logistics, mechanical engineering and material handling, even in demanding environments. They are used in e.g. high-volume sorting facilities at airports and logistics centres; they serve as precision guidance elements in machine and plant construction and they can be found in elevators, escalators, on conveyor belts and even on huge offshore cranes. They are generally subjected to short but very frequent loads.

The correct guide roller for every application
The norelem range comprises four series of guide rollers with polyurethane or polyamide treads. The variants are clearly distinguishable by colour and are designed to meet different load, environmental and friction requirements.

Silver-grey guide rollers

TPU tread, Shore 92A, with polyamide wheel body, no marks and no contact discolouration. Designed for outdoor use, e.g. cranes. Furthermore, the guide rollers can be used in traditional applications such as conveyor belts and elevators.

  • Hydrolysis-stable

  • Low rolling resistance

  • Highly abrasion-resistant

Natural white guide rollers

break-resistant polyamide, Shore 70D – the hardest variant in the range. Suitable for heavy-duty guide systems in doors, elevators or swimming pool covers.

  • Very low rolling resistance, even on smooth floors

  • Extremely high permissible loads

  • Maximum chemical resistance
