Your responsibilities
- Independently managing and developing existing customer relationships within your sales territory
- Acquiring new customers and developing business, including preparing for, conducting and following up on sales meetings
- Advising on, presenting and selling the product range
- Assisting with the resolution of technical queries and complaints
- Close collaboration with the back office and sales specialists
- Monitoring the market and competition, as well as attending trade fairs and events
- Telephone and face-to-face customer contact, including business travel, and reporting to senior management
- Strategic involvement in product range development
- Active participation in sales promotion measures and concepts, as well as trade fairs
What you bring to the role
- Successfully completed technical training in mechanical engineering and/or a comparable qualification
- Experience in commercial sales
- A confident, communicative and outgoing personality
- An independent, goal-oriented and customer-focused approach to work
- Experience in the selection and design of standard parts systems, drive technology, linear systems and components for assembly and automation technology
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work in a team, discretion and a friendly, service-oriented manner
Your responsibilities
- Implementing a positive and sustainable communications strategy aimed at fostering long-term customer loyalty
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of national and international marketing initiatives for norelem and the norelem Academy
- Planning, managing and optimising media planning, including performance monitoring and reporting
- Coordination of press and public relations activities in Germany and abroad
- Steuerung externer Dienstleister und Agenturen
- Planning and implementing marketing campaigns, sponsorship activities and national and international trade fair appearances
- Involvement in budget planning and monitoring
- Professional and managerial leadership of the marketing team
What you bring to the role
- A degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in marketing or communications, ideally at an international level
- Strong editorial and communication skills
- Leadership experience, organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- An independent, structured and reliable approach to work
- Excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of other foreign languages would be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Adobe InDesign would be desirable
